Fedwa Harrak is a Registered Midwife with over five years of experience in maternity care and a strong commitment to improving the experiences and outcomes of women, birthing people and families.
Alongside her NHS clinical practice, Fedwa is the founder of Midwives4You, where she provides independent midwifery education and support to women and families throughout pregnancy, birth and the postnatal period.
Fedwa has developed a diverse career spanning clinical practice, education, public health and professional development. She has worked as a lecturer in Health and Social Care and as a midwifery educator and assessor, supporting the development of students and healthcare professionals. She is passionate about education as a means of strengthening the midwifery profession and improving the quality and safety of maternity care.
Committed to lifelong learning, Fedwa holds a Postgraduate Certificate in Public Health, a Postgraduate Certificate in Higher Education and a Diploma in Education and Teaching, alongside her professional qualification as a Registered Midwife. Her interests include maternity education, health inequalities, inclusive practice, student development and improving outcomes for women and families.
Fedwa has contributed to professional and academic discussions through published articles and wider engagement within midwifery. She was also nominated for Midwifery Practice Assessor of the Year 2025, recognising her commitment to supporting and developing the next generation of midwives.
As a Trustee, Fedwa is passionate about using her clinical, educational and professional experience to contribute to good governance, promote education and development, and support initiatives that make a meaningful difference to midwives, students and the women, birthing people and families they serve. She is honoured to bring her experience, perspective and commitment to the organisation and to work collaboratively with fellow Trustees to advance its mission.
