Susha Chandrasekhar is a lawyer currently in the healthcare sector and has also worked as a government lawyer in the Civil Service, as a corporate lawyer for an international law firm, as an associate lecturer at the London School of Economics, as a legal researcher, and as a freelance writer and editor of legal content.
The inspiration for Susha to join Iolanthe was her own experience of becoming a mother. She has significant board experience having been Chair and National Board member of the Association of Women Solicitors and Board member/trustee of the national charities Kinship and The Fawcett Society. She has also undertaken non-board volunteer work in healthcare, mentoring/coaching and for a children's charity.
Susha is a graduate of Cambridge, Oxford and London Universities. Multilingual and having lived in nine countries, she is aware of the importance of sensitivity to different cultural settings. A Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts, Susha is a committed advocate for diversity, inclusion, flexible working and support for carers.
