Jenny is Reader in Midwifery Research at Queen’s University, Belfast. She has been a research/academic staff member in the School of Nursing & Midwifery there since 2003.
Jenny is committed to maximising the contribution of midwifery to enhancing outcomes for women and families in the perinatal period, through education and research. She believes that incorporating maternity service users in designing and providing high-quality midwifery education and research is fundamental to achieving enhanced outcomes for women and families.
Jenny is honoured to be a Trustee for the Iolanthe Midwifery Trust and support their valuable contribution to improving care for mothers, babies and families.
