Ashleigh completed her midwifery training in Manchester in 2018. She has worked in every clinical area of maternity, including birth centre and community, as a rotational midwife. After 7 years of experience training and working in the NHS, she moved abroad and worked in the private healthcare sector in Dubai, UAE.
She now works in London and has been training in Fertility, and also teaches antenatal education classes. Ashleigh has worked with a diverse population of women, birthing people, their partners and their families. She also worked for one month in Uganda with the Knowledge for Change charity as a student midwife.
Work experience across these settings has made Ashleigh passionate about equality of care and informed choice.
