How can you help the Trust? |
In order to spend money, you firstly have to receive it! Whilst the majority of our funding comes from judicious investments, our policy of spending only the interest on these investments enables us to generate approximately £27,000 pa. This has to pay for our administrative services and fund all our grants. Clearly, additional funds would enable the Trust to expand its work to the greater benefit of mothers, their babies and their families. Every now and again we are fortunate enough to receive bequests. For example, the Trust is currently receiving funds in memory of Tricia Anderson. Other examples of donations include the residue of the funds following the closure of the journal, Midwives Chronicle and Nursing Notes, and the Dame Rosalind Paget Memorial Trust.
