Delivering Best Practice Award

The Delivering Best Practice Award was first awarded in 2004. It is designed to help maternity professionals ensure that they are providing the best possible care. The DBP Award is open to anyone working with mothers, their babies and their families. The Iolanthe Midwifery Trust values diversity and welcomes applications from all sections of the community.

The  focus of the award Delivering Best Practice Award centres on teamwork and collaboration between those with an interest in or who are involved in providing services for women, their babies and their families during pregnancy and after birth.

 

The award is for a maximum of £30,000 over two years and is paid to a designated authority; i.e. an NHS Trust or PCT or a specified project account. It is not an award made directly to an individual.

 

This award is not being offered in 2008/9 as it is currently being reviewed.
